HOW FIT SHOULD ONE BE FOR TREKKING

You need to be physically fit with no serious health conditions that are triggered by long walks on steep terrains. Please ensure that you do not catch contagious diseases such as flu that could be passed on to the animals. The age limit to track gorillas and chimps is 15 years in all the 3 countries

Welcome to Agence Jobogo Tours

We are a tour, travel and rental company with quality services that you can rely on. We know Uganda, Rwanda and Congo better than anyone. Our areas of operation in Uganda are Kibale forest NP, Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP, Murchison Falls NP, Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo NP. In Rwanda, we travel the whole of Rwanda from Kigali, Ruhengeri, Gisenyi, kibuye and Nyungwe forest NP. In Congo, we travel and discover the virgin areas of Eastern part of Congo facing Uganda like Beni Town, Ishango, Mavivi, Epullu and Tshabirimu. We operate a number of itineraries both group and tailor made.

Our mission is to offer a vast program to our clients, providing reasonably priced eco safaris and cultural tours and to involve our clients in local activities.

We aim to encourage local people to be responsible for their environment and cultural resources, so that they can benefit from the growth of the tourism industry.

We work hand in hand with a number of projects, helping people in various villages to develop. In the Kasese district we work in Kasenyi and other fishing villages within the Queen Elizabeth National Park, with the Swiss based NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) The Association Keiser Initiative for Uganda, to build schools and water sanitation projects.

In the Bwindi region we work with our friend from the UK Joy Howell to help the communities in Buhoma and Karangara, who has built classrooms, latrines a library and a school office, as well as a   poultry unit in Karangara. We support Joy with her work to sponsor over 100 children in both Primary Education in Buhoma and Karangara and secondary education in Kabale.
